Join us for our Annual MCC Quilt Show at the Clearbrook Public Library!
The MCC Quilters will demonstrate their craft and show their handiwork at their annual Quilt Show, August 20th (beginning in the evening)-26th at the Clearbrook Public Library, 32320 George Ferguson Way in Abbotsford BC. Join us in the Meeting Room during Library hours.
Finished, hand-made quilts will be on display and quilters will be available to answer your questions as you watch them prepare others for auction. Three of their quilts have already won awards at the Quilt Show held recently at the Tradex in Abbotsford.
“This is an opportunity for you to see the quilts up close, to get a real appreciation for the work that these ladies put into each quilt, and to decide which quilt you’d like to bid on!” says Christa Giesbrecht, MCC BC Quilting Program Coordinator.
Visitors will have a chance to vote on their favourite quilt as well.
All of the quilts you’ll see at the show will be auctioned at the annual MCC Festival at the Abbotsford Tradex (September7&8,2012). This year’s Festival will raise funds for MCC's relief, development and peace work all around the world.
