Resources for MCC Binational, leads a workshop titled "The Anatomy of a
Disaster". Reimer talked about the steps MCC goes through from the
moment a disaster strikes to mobilizing resources in response.

(Jacob's Well), Karyn Santiago (Fraser Valley Gleaners) Dave Murray

Coordinator MCC Food, Dsaster and Material Resources. Each panelist
discussed the challenges faced by those whom they serve.

In his keynote address to delegates and guests at the
Annual Conference, Willie Reimer said "Today we have many examples of
people excluded from the basic necessities of life. The current economic
crisis has meant that 'Give us this day our daily bread' has become much
for expensive for many people in the world."

Friends wish each other a safe journey as the MCC BC's
Annual Meeting comes to a close. It was a day filled with food for
thought as much as body.
"What a great day this has been," said one participant. "You folks do
such a great job at showing us what MCC does around the world. I just
wish more people could have been here!"
