Cathy Hardy Concert Supports End Abuse Program
Cathy AJ Hardy & Band CD Release Concert
i am she... a soul's journey home
Cathy's first solo CD, Love Shines, was nominated for Folk/Roots Album of the Year with the Gospel Music Awards of Canada. This new album, i am she, is a continuation of Cathy's singer-songwriting talents and is filled with 11 new songs of hope, healing and inspiration.
The October concert will also support MCC's End Abuse program, the Women's Resource Society of the Fraser Valley and the Mark Centre. All of these are close to Cathy's heart.
"It has been my experience that many women tend to lose their voice….in many symbolic ways," she says. "It is my desire to help us return to that invitation of being named, being healed, being set free – to return to loving the person we have been created to be so that we can blossom into our fullness for the glory of God. I would like to support organizations that are helping bent over women to become women of dignity and beauty and knowing their full worth as human beings."
An evening of songs new and old - come enjoy an experience of music that wil lift you up, ignite your soul and bring you joy.
